Liruma

Liruma is the adopted home system of Transhumanity, around which orbits 87 Sylvia, the asteroid that serves as the seat of the Liruma Mandate and its "capital" city.

Geography

Liruma is a K-class star, moderately smaller and redder than Sol. Circling it in the liquid water zone is one gas giant with an arid supra-Martian moon. It is life-bearing, with carbon-based chemistry in water, but incompatible with the biology of Homo sapiens due to biochemical makeup and atmospheric mixture ratio. 87 Sylvia was deposited farther out, on a moderately elliptical orbit between 1.2-1.7 AU. This puts it within the Liruma Inner Belt.
