A Beta member of the Torchbearer Pack attempts to challenge Deucalion for the Alpha possition, believing his recent blinding means he is vulnerable.
Instead, Deucalion kills him and absorbs his power, leading to him killing the rest of his surviving betas and founding an Alpha Pack.
