A way to save your life, at the expense of everything you have ever known. Everyone you have even loved. This is the gift Kybele gave to her most beloved worshiper, and the curse.

The Alpha, inheritor of the strength of our revered ancestor, is both our sword and shield, and through them alone does our line endure.
When our lives are threatened, it is the Alpha who leads the attack. When one among us loses themselves, it is the Alpha who calls him home. And when one new to the Gift becomes overwhealmed by the divine majesty of our Great Mother, it is the Alpha, with the gifts granted to him by Kybele herself, who may take command of him.
