Dragon Queen

Long ago on a distant world called Krynn, a great cataclysm occurred and in the aftermath both gods and dragons were gone with nary a hint of where they disappeared. Lost in an aftermath of destruction and devastation. Clerics held no divine spark and religions crumbled. Nations struggled to survive.
Ages later, Tiamat, who was known as Takhisis, the dragon queen plotted from her abyssal domain and brought forth evil dragons to enslave that world. These dragons led armies that spread like a shadow across those lands driving nations into submission and even forcing the elves to abandon their ancestral woods. Within this darkening storm a team of heroes arose following the whispered call of Mishikal, the goddess of healing, and Paladine, the god of goodly dragons. These heroes of the realm with names like Tanis the Half-elven, Cameron the brawny, Laurana the golden general, Sturm the invincible knight, Tasslehoff the fearless, and Krakkus the duck wizard spread across the land sparking hope where only darkness lived. These heroes had many tales among them each more daring than the last as they brought divinity and news of the gods returning back to these forsaken lands. But let me regale you with their greatest triumph, the defeat of the dragon queen herself! Late within the war, the Dark Queen clawed through the veils of reality from her plane into a dark temple where her armies gave tribute and sacrifice unto her. Among these tributes a general brought forth Cameron and Tanis as servants to her queen. But this was merely a guise these heroes wore. For as Tasslehoff Burrfoot grappled the Crown of Power from the disgraced knight of solamnia, the death knight himself, Lord Soth. As Tas tumbled down the steps escaping the terrible undead swordsman, Tanis and Cameron brandished their swords and rushed upward toward the dark queen’s avatar. Sensing danger, she shifted her portal away. Suddenly, Raistlin, Cameron’s twin brother and dark mage, appeared and guided these heroes to rejoin their compatriots where the Takhsis was feeling. As they enter the fray, Krakkus teleports them all unto the very back of the dragon the queen had become. Wailing mighty blows, her avatar lost grip upon the world of Krynn and she was sucked back into the abyssal prison she fought so hard to leave behind. Again Krakus and Raistlin tapped into the deepest of arcane energies to bring these mighty heroes back to the world where they then lived happily and peacefully until old age.
