Bildrath Mercantile

As visitors approach, the gloomy overcast road gets illuminated by a few shafts of light piercing through heavy drawn curtains. Reviewing the building reveals a heavy wooden door that sits between two glass-covered windows. The building looks ancient bearing scars of time and weather, but fares better than the other buildings surrounding it.    Upon entering the store, the proprietor, Bildrath Cantemir, and his assistant: a large hulking stockboy named, Parriwimple, stand easily behind a thick, wooden counter which blocks off the warehouse containing their inventory behind it. On the limited display shelves behind the counter, assorted sundry goods can be found such as are present in most general stores, with the distinct difference that the price seems to indicate Bildrath is either embarked on a career as a highway robber or is single-handedly driving up the town's inflation rate ten-fold. Attempts to bargain with Bildrath are greeted with a grim smile and what has become something of a catch-phrase for him: "If you want it bad enough, you'll pay."
