The Fate System

You never know what the fates have I store. Perhaps your fate is one that is a set path, or perhaps you will carve the road forward yourself. In ode, fate is a dynamic force, changed to be malleable due to the god of chaos.
What is the Fate System in Ode?
The Fate System is something I created to give more customization to player characters. Through actions, loot, secrets or achievements; players can obtain a Fate. Fate augment abilities or grant new ones. Under normal circumstance, players do not have direct control over their fate. The fate will grant abilities based on the players playstyle and actions within the world. Fates level up through rp and will evolve over time.
Forced Fates, are a fate that is determined at character creation. Forced Fates are tied to specific concepts or factions that exist in ode. For a list of these options, see the Forced Fate folder.
Overall the goal of a Fate is to allow players to lean more heavily into a concept.
