Sodus' first child and heir to the throne of his father, Oudellar, was Phyges. Phyges was considered possessing of all the finest qualities of his father Sodus, his grandfather King Oudellar, his great-grandfather Ipoletus, his mother Telia, maternal grandfather Daru, and his great-great-grandfather, King Pedridas. Sodus forsook any of his own claims to the throne of Odalla he might have had when he saw the sublime qualities evidenced in his eldest son.
History
Telia's first child was Phyges. He had her eyes, hair and striking features. As he grew, he exemplified the very best qualities of those in his esteemed ancestry. Telia admired her son and was blessed by him on the day of his coronation, when he assumed the throne of his paternal grandfather and maternal great-great-grandfather.
