Mikadzuki

Mikadzuki is the smallest continent on Oculus spanning less than 2,000 miles across. The long narrow arch of its outer perimeter resemble a crescent moon with a large island at its center.

Geography

The churning ocean currents pull warm water from all around Kyen into its central basin. The warm water heats up the air around the continent keeping its northern reaches from freezing over. For the most part Mikadzuki is warm and tropical although it’s northern stretches do experience a fair bit of snow in the winter. The eastern tips are covered by tall cylindrical mountain formations called the castellum pillars. These continue right out to the edge of the crescent tips where the entrance to the basin is.
