Secret guards are the second ranks of the
Kingom of Growth military. They are a little different from the other ranks, as they don't serve during battles normally. They are hidden amongst civillians, striking the enemy when they least excpect it. However, they are also used to spy on the civillians and as regualr guards.
Joining requirements:
The person needs to have at least 3, but soemtimes even 5 years of experience as a
Man hunter, who proved their loyality and is willing to fight for the kingdom.
Military equipment:
They wear civillian attire, which means they at best have metal or leather sheets under their regualr clothes, along with a shortsword or a knife. However, they have a hidden stash of better weapons at home, which they can conceal easily when carrying aroung boxes or pulling a carriage. These usually include a smaller shield, a spear, a shortbow and a sword.
Training:
Secret guards have to go through a year of training, along a monthly training day, during which they refine their rusty skills, which they rarely use during their day to day.
Responsibilities:
Secret guards need to keep order in settlements, look out for trouble and listen in to nearby conversations when possible. They need to stay loyal to their kingdom and fight during an attack. Secret guards also need to go to their monthly trainings, no matter what.
Special permissions:
Secret guards can kill civillians, if they believe and can prove their actions are going against the kingdom, such as commiting a crime, without question, or, prefferably, they can imprison them.
Schedule
Their schedule depends on each person, as they basically live their day to day lives like normal, with their job adding a little to it.
