Purpose / Function

The Cross and Crook appeals to the bohemian artist crowd of the West End. The drinks are cheap, and the crowd is mostly performers. Oddly, this means they are usually a decent audience for whomever may be putting on a show in the moment.

Alterations

In the back of the pub is a door you wouldn't notice was there, unless you knew what you were looking for. Behind that door is a set of plush cushions, heavy curtains, and the thick, sweet smoke of opium. The "crooked cross," as it is called, is run by agreement between the pub owner and the Hsien Su-Fan.

Architecture

The building has recently been refurbished from its...extra profits...lights and lamps glow throughout the building, the tile is clean, and the windows positively shine. It is, by all appearances, a place on the rise.
