Disbandment

The Council mysteriously disappears when the gods go to war with each other.

When the gods decided to go to war with each other, the Council split. Most chose to stay and fight in the great war, while others disappeared.   It is unclear what happened to the Council after Galdarian was slain, some say they all died in the war, others say they are in hiding, but the Council has vanished and has not been seen or heard for over a thousand years.
