Kestramore Steps

The first mountain discovered and settled by the Vucboon after they left Nen Doral. The Kestramore steps has the most unique ecosystem of the Great Mountains. Located on the edge of The Weeping and the border of The Parched Lands, the Kestramore Steps is split between two ecosystems and also receives the least amount of precipitation in relation to the other mountains. This causes it to be an extremely hot and unforgiving environment.   The mountain gets it name from those who follow The Order of Light. They believe that when you die, your soul travels to the top of either the Tamriel or Kestramore steps and joins the sun goddesses in their divine domain. When ones soul reaches the top of the steps, if you have lived a fulfilling life of good, one of the goddesses will extend their hand and allow the person to join them in their domain in the sky.   The Kestramore Steps is slightly taller than the Tamriel steps, with an altitude of 2700 meters.

Geography

The city of Storms Break rests at the bottom of this mountain and almost completely surrounds the base. The mountain itself contains almost two ecosystems. This is due to the east side being partially exposed to The Weeping while the west side is exposed to the intense heat of The Parched Lands. Therefore the west side of the mountain is mostly sand and rock, while the east side has areas of plant life and a few rivers and streams. The Kestramore steps is the one of the smaller Great Mountains of Obrios with an altitude of 2700 meters.

Fauna & Flora

Because the Kestramore Steps shares two ecosystems, it has a wide variety of plant and animal life. The east side of the mountain consists mostly tropical Plume trees and ferns, while the west side consists of dry Rockberry bushes and Pokeroots. There are many types of wildlife that live on the mountain, the most common are the Ankheg and Kruthiks.
