Esme Stark
Esme Stark (a.k.a. The Sorceress of SoHo)
Raised in the slums of 1920's London, Esme has had to make everything for herself. She joined the Astrum Arentum in 1932 and quickly rose through the ranks to become a Sorceress that even the group's infamous leader, Aleister Crowley, described as impressive. Esme was one of the occultist's most esteemed followers before their, as she describes it, "falling out" which the rest of the world knows as the Second Great Fire of London.
Spirited away shortly after by the Infinites Esme seems to have taken up work for British Intelligence but even 70 years later many of her missions are still classified at the highest level and she is very cagey about her activities after the war before joining the Agency. But since then she has been one of our best combat mages and is often involved in the training of our finest magic users.
