The Garden
The Garden, also called the Allure, is a colloquial term referring to the central river valley regions of the region of Whaldam. The Garden is named as such because plants are always in bloom and the land seems to be in eternal Spring. The forest within the Garden extends for several hundred miles north along the foothills of the mountain known as Walia's Mount but south of the Garden is mostly grassy plains with sparse trees. The land was not always so, having once been a lush, forested land inhabited by the gnomes throughout ancient history in which they used to perform rituals and turn willing humans into fae which are fairy-like humanoids.

Overview
The forest in the north is inhabited by tribes of humans who sometimes use the cover of the forest to hide from gnomes and fae who they need to sneak past in order to get into the Garden. Humans want to sneak into the Garden because its waters have magical healing properties, they can project their dreams, and if they are a human-elf couple, then their child will be fae if born in the Garden. Gnomes have established outposts on the southern part of the forest in order to catch people before entering the Garden but have trouble keeping it secure because they don't want to cut down any trees or upset the balance of nature. The only settlement within the Garden is Jesprune Castle which sits at the edge of the Flankwood Forest and is populated by many gnomes and fae.
