The Eastern Slopes

The Eastern Slopes are an extensive mountain range in the north of Elsryd. They form a barrier between the Blanks to the north, Whaldam to the south, and the Faelyn Territory to the east. There are two major passes through the mountains, the Frozen Cliffs and the Froststream.
the Eastern Slopes are a formidable obstacle to travel between Elsryd and the rest of Obe. The northern face of the range is scattered with strongholds designed to defend against southern raids. This area is called the Shelter and is part of Scarhead Mountain which lies within this mountain range.
The Eastern Slopes are noted as being visible from both the Garden and also Keslo . They are so-called for their traversable slopes.
