    The Arcanum Revolt
    Religious event

This event is the single largest event ever recorded by man. A lot of details about this event remain theoretical at best, and a lot of sources say different things, but one thing is agreed upon. The end of the Arcanum Revolt started time as we know it.   The Arcanum Revolt was a period in time spanning 2 ages where the gods walked freely across all the planes including the material plane. Large wars between good and evil ravaged the multiverse. Gods fighting gods for domain, boons, and titles. The humanoid conflicts were mere childsplay in comparison. Planes imploded and planes were created on a daily basis and rifts to other worlds opened and closed at random. The weave of magic lay so close to the material world that even humans had innate magical powers. The Arcanum Revolt came to a close when the creator god of annihilation Tharizdun tried ending all existence. All other gods, even evil and self-serving gods fought alongside good gods to kill the endless end. It is said that Pelor and Tharizdun both plummeted through the planes, battling each other until they both fell through the material plane, into the Sanguine Waters, through the abyss' millions of layers until finally, both were locked away for good, forever falling in the endless final layer of the abyss. The other creator gods created a divine gate, ever stopping gods from freely jumping planes and limiting the weave in the process. Thus starting time anew.

The Rise and Fall of the Baltican Empire
    Military action

The Baltican empire was one of the biggest collections of cities under one rule to ever exist. It reached all the way from The Black Steel Hills to the west, to the Willowwoods, down south to the Hollowstone Ridge. Under the rule of Argyn Valdir of Goodblood, The emperor of the Baltican empire , the empire flourished, expanding at a rate only seen by the Dragons before the Arcanum Revolt. The empire had several city-states; Yanvos, Trevos, Zazvos, and Thevos. All acting like separate independent states governing lesser cities, but all answering to Warnvos in the middle.   Argyn was described as a mighty and stoic king, but also bloodhungry and entitled, which in the end was his downfall. Argyn had a council of 12 pureblood Dragonborn that helped decide on matters. Dragonborn politics are cutthroat and so at the first sign of treachery Argyn would execute them. The empire was under heavy military doctrine governing the lives of those living within. All Dragonborns were to have many children that were forced into the army. This meant the Baltican army was large and fearless. But once the Baltican empire threatened the Orcish empire, full war ensued. It lasted for over a hundred years. Back and forth, but the Orcs aligned with giants and goblinoid creatures and managed to push them back overtaking the city-state of Yanvos (now named Argh Undt Argh translated to Blood and Blood). The war was a stalemate in the Baltican forest, known as the mud wars (The Baltican Forest is now the Perished Marshes). hundreds of thousands died and the forest became a swamp of dead corpses. In the end, the Dragonborn lost and were forced to retreat of the mainland into the Badlands.   The Orcish Empire did not manage to keep the captured city and was spread too thin and with pressure from the Black Steel Hill Dwarves and Jhankos the third of Loudwater  they left most of the cities to become ruins, but keeping Yanvos renaming it Argh Undt Argh after a famous orcish battle song sung throughout the war

    The Reun Civil War
    Revolution

In the year 476 AAR, the city of Reun had been in a naval war with Sleetsted for seven years and it seemed to most that the war was impossible to win. Despite the pleas from the lower to middle class to end the war and pay reparations to Sleetsted, then king, Doran Loche decided to send his whole force in a blitzkrieg attempt to take the port city. the people's disdain grew for the king as their farms were being burnt down and raided, the merchant's sales were dwindling with each passing day, and people were dying in the streets of starvation.   After Doran Loches' decision to launch an all-out last attempt attack, the dissident movement led by then farmers guild head Nianna Mahelecho congregated with enemy Sleetsted forces outside Reun and launched an attack from the inside opening the gates letting enemy soldiers through. When king Doran Loche demanded his people to fight for him, most turned their backs and stood down, surrendering to the invading forces. After a final battle described in Exerpt from The Tales of Loche, the king was dead and the leader of the dissident movement took control over Reun. Making fair reparations to Sleetsted as long as they left Reun alone, Reun returned to its roots in trading, farming, and mining, and a fine long-lasting friendship between Sleetsted and Reun was born.

    The Dwarven Restpit Massacre
    Disaster / Destruction

In the year of 1137 after the Arcanum Revolt, the Dwarves of Ragstag Crag managed to wake a sleeping monster in the depths of the undermountain. It tore through the mountain city, destroying all in its wake and dwarves fell like flies before the monstrosity. At the behest of king Gallstone Ragstag, they retreated, but the main entrance had become blocked by rubble. At first, they tried to dig, but it failed, and so they kept retreating upwards until they reached the Gallstone Bluff. A large overhang looming over the Dwarven Restpit (formerly named the Kings Gorge). The monster did not halt and the dwarves working in the Limestone Chasm beneath watched their fellow dwarves fall 2000 feet to their demise into the Kings Gorge and renamed it the Dwarven Restpit. The mountain is abandoned, and most dwarves are fearful of ever retaking the mountain. They have built around it using some of the lesser mountains of the Ragstag mountain chain. None dare enter Gallstone’s Ragstag Crag.   Only a few dwarves from that time are still alive. The memories haunt them to this day.

    The Reunian War
    Military action

The Reunian war was a 10-year-long war between the city of Reun and the coalition of Orcish settlements, Galvar Gordoroth. The war started around the year 1340 after the arcanum revolt, during an expansionist period in Orcish history. Reasons for the war vary from source to source, but the consensus is that Orcish religion and family values are based upon honor, and honor can only be obtained from fighting and conquering. For many decades tribes fought one another continuing the cycle of honor until Galvar Gordoroth traveled around the southern part of Reun, gathering the tribes under one banner creating an unnerving peace amongst the orcs. After many years of dormancy, the Orcish zeitgeist changed and ideals of a new world power arose. Quickly and efficiently the orcs launched blitz attacks on nearby elvish, human and dwarvish cities, capturing and razing them within mere weeks. Under the leadership of Galvar himself, who was a great military strategist, they managed to capture Salvas, the elven city of Tree light and Stone shore, the only known village of seafaring dwarves. After a week-long siege, they managed to break the walls of Molar, a human city thought to be impenetrable and burned it to the ground. After laying waste to the countryside they laid siege to Reun, but with its location, and the orcs distaste for naval combat they struggled to get through the gaps of Reun. 8 years they spent slowly advancing their armies through the gaps until they happened upon tribes of stone giants in the Reun mountain chain. A pact was struck, Orc and Giant fought side by side quickly making their way towards the city.   throughout this turbulent time, Reun had fallen victim to the terrors of war; famine, pestilence, starvation, and stagnation, all playing their part in Reun slowly losing the war. During this time then king of Reun Illus the Great (later known as The Humble King) sought help from the Dwarves of Copperstad. The council of twelve refused to help Reun in their time of need until one-day Illus traveled to the gates of Copperstad, sneaking past enemy lines to meet with the dwarves. No one knows what Illus said or gave the dwarves but after a 3-day long meeting, the dwarves joined the war, fighting for Reun. Another 2 years of perilous fighting continued until the forces of Galvar Gordoroth retreated, ending the war.

    The Enslavement of Helften
    Military action

In the year 1523, the chromatic city of Cialmader seized control of the Halfling city of Helften (which now lies ruin, the survivors of the war moved to what is now Seaferrow Village.) Helften was a pious theocracy living in peace with all until the Chromatic Dragonborn came. The Dragonborn wielded fire and brimstone and enslaved the Halfing Populus using them as slave labor, seizing control of the Kaien Relics and the holy Omakka. the Dragonborn were motivated by resources and xenophobic expansionist ideals. Their country is a baron wasteland and its water corrupted by acid. The Halfling Bareil, Siddik Wei ordered Helften to not fight back as it would mean the death of them all, instead they surrendered, waiting for the rest of the world to react. The occupation of Helften, and enslavement of their people lasted for 24 years. 300 000 halflings died from overwork, starvation, and dehydration.   There were several resistance groups that fought against the Dragonborn: The Shalon Ma, The Theok'Qui, and most notably The Thana Los. The “war” ended when The Twained Empereum launched a land and naval attack on the occupied city. In the wake of this two-front war, they razed the city behind them and fled or surrendered.

    The Dragonborn and Drow Invasion
    Military action

Ever since the invasion of Helften and the genocide of the Halflings the dragonborn covert operations within O'l Andem has risen to unprecedented levels. The information war raged on for many years and the allied forces lost. The recent tension arose until the point of military activity and in a blitz attack the Dragonborn, allied with the Drow managed to take over several key locations, take out several key targets and ruin military outposts around the continent. The Dragonborn and Drow alliance managed to take over Reun and several port towns along the coast. With the help of Hobgoblin maurauders they raveged the countryside burning down Fletchgard, Elisem, and several smaller villages like Hideskeld and Eldsbygd. As the war turned in favor of the mainland forces several secret agents were exposed and killed. These agents were used to undermine Dwalinstad, The Orcish Empire and The Black Steel Hills. Dwalinstad was almost destroyed from within, but was saved by a party known mainly as The Baby Traffickers.   The war took over 1.5 years to fully end. The war was in essence over during the first year of conflict, but small fractions of rebel dragonborns managed to keep tensions high for half a year longer.
