Ondeland

Oneland is the smallest of the three continents in the northern hemisphere of Nyverden. It is a land of great diversity of climate and terrain with dark, almost impassable jungle on either coast and the center dominated by the largest desert on the planet. The continent is largely unknown to the civilized races, with men and elves having only briefly probed the western and northern coasts. There are rumors of ancient civilizations of apes and lizard people in the western jungles, and some believe that giants from the Land of Surtur have taken over the eastern portions of the continent.  In actuality, the coninent of Ondeland is overrun with humanoid species that are not found in other lands.  Cities of lizard people make their home in the western jungles, rising and declining in an eon-long fight with a civilization of sentient apes.  Familes of Yaun-Ti vie for control of the deserts, competing not only with each other but with the distant relatives of the western lizard people.  Centaurs and minotaurs rule the eastern hills and grasslands, avoiding the clan of giants who have invaded from the across the northern straits.
