Clan of the Antelope (Fia Bernnach)

The Antelope Clan, known informally as the Fia, form a society of nomadic tribes that occupy the Dry Plains in southern Ankomst.  While their name, clan symbology, and legend all heavily incorporate the image of the fleet-footed plains antelope that inhabit the Dry Plains, their way of life is much more intimately tied to the herds of buffalo that roam the plains.  They hunt the buffalo, make clothing and tents from their hides, and have managed to slightly domesticate (with the help of magic) some of the breed to use as beasts of burden and riding stock.   The Antelope are one of the least warlike clans of the Celtic Peoples.  This by no means is to infer that they are pacifists, have an easy exitstence, or are incapable of fighting.  They simply focus more on existing within the harsh interior of the Dry Plains, where they are constantly on the move for food following the wandering herds, and competing with the likes of dire wolves, saber-toothed tigers, short-faced bears and terror birds.   The one constant in Antelope Clan society is the Eternal Flame at Brigantes, the spiritual center of their society and a hub for trade, worship, and dealing with other tribes within the Clan.
