Pyrestone
Pyrestone was created 200 years ago by an Ancient Red Dragon, named Flame Emperor Zarthun. Zarthun has not been seen outside of Pyrestone since it was created.
Zarthun is known to be arrogant and lazy. However, he is loved by the citizens of Pyrestone. The citizens will rarely criticize the Flame Emperor.
Over the last 5 years, the city of Pyrestone has seen a tremendous growth in both population and the economy. This growth has been mainly attributed to Salgrin, the 'left hand' of the Flame Emperor. Salgrin began working for the Flame Emperor directly 5 years ago. He is known by the citizens as a caring and helpful person. He has assisted many businesses and all of them saw tremendous growth instantly. 3 years ago Salgrin became the 'Arena Master'. He has full control over the Pyrestone Arena.
The 'right hand' of the Flame Emperor is Rajir. He has been working for the Flame Emperor for roughly 40 years. He is known to be the Flame Emperor's closest friend and confidant. However, Rajir has expressed that the Flame Emperor has started to rely on him less and is leaning more on Salgrin's shoulders. Rajir seems conflicted by this as he doesn't trust Salgrin, however the improvements Salgrin has made to the city are tremendous.
The party discovered that Salgrin was working for Trey'var. Salgrin used the arena to put the mark on more people and eventually took action by causing explosions throughout the arena and city. This plan caused roughly 60% of the population of Pyrestone to die during the attacks. The party defeated Salgrin and discovered that the energy being siphoned through the mark is being used to increase Trey'vars power.
