Nyelmeur A World Lost to Madness

All Nyelmeur knows anymore is insanity and plague. Its major landmasses are split down the center of the planet, one epicenter being the flood of darkness, oozing out death and destruction, while the other epicenter a lone purified city, Slin, that has the only remnants of the older world left in it. It was once a beautiful land, covered by mystical animals and unity between the intelligent life. The lone moon, referred to as "Callisto" was destroyed, causing the realm to be dropped into darkness in what is now known as 0 After Fallen. During the event called the fallen, the moon Callisto was shattered into pieces that slowly began to form into their own moons, each different, and corrupted. A new moon rises, always bringing a different part of insanity with it.   The commonfolk hide indoors at night, plan their routines around the horrors that pour out of the deadly moons above, but sometimes it is not enough. The madness effects other people, animals, monsters and even nature. The closer to Slin, the more normal life people are able to be shielded from the moons effects, but in their mind it is just a matter of time until the madness finds its way in.   Adventurers leave Slin every 4 months, in search of fortune, to help the less fortunate, to learn, record, explore, hunt. These individuals are called Seekers.
