Stefan Tremaine

Chancellor Stefan Tremaine is the leader of South Solomon University. When he was a boy growing up in Seattle, he dreamed of a life of adventure. As a young man, Stefan went on a hike up Mount Rainier and was nearly crushed by a falling rock. His legs were amputated and he had them replaced with prosthetics, though he would never walk again. Devastated that his life of adventuring had come to an abrupt end, Stefan devoted himself to his studies. He was later accepted into South Solomon University at the age of 24 and has spent the rest of his life there. Stefan fell in love with the university. He loved the freedom knowledge had granted him, though he would be eternally bitter about his physical circumstances. He went on to teach several classes, including Wilderness Survival, Cartography, and Celestial Navigation. After 20 years of teaching, he was eventually moved into the position of Chancellor. From there, he made several changes to staffing and financing, revolutionizing the student learning program by giving almost all of them the opportunity to conduct experiments and research.
