This city has a dark past that keep some people away from its walls. Long ago, the people on Jantung had done some forbidden ritual such that the corpses of those they had buried would be protected. This sprouted the first of many corpse flowers in the area which then grew wherever the dead lay in this area. These flowers are massive and smell of dead flesh and additionally these flowers think of the living as people who could destroy the corpse they are protecting. After the flowers began to become more powerful, the people created a reverse ritual to protect future bodies from creating these flowers by blessing a tree in the center of town that calms the smell of the dead and prevents the flowers from attacking the living
