Attempted Assassination of Alexander I

On April 18th, 2689, a group of Puredei nationalists attempted to assassinate Alexander I of House Baksworth, the then King of Nuggia. This event has been considered the end of the Nova Pax, a period of peace within the Grand Empire of Nuggia following the end of The Imperialist Wars. Since the assassination attempt, there has been a marked increase in political violence in the Empire.
