The old powers of the Milky Way have collapsed. The Earth Accords have fallen under their own weight, leaving a power vacuum in the Eastern Fringe, with revolution springing up all around. In the west, the once mighty Leteiran Commonwealth stands in ruins, its constituent nations fighting amongst themselves.
In this Roiling Century, the galaxy remains in flux. The old powers have faded, and newcomers are hungry to take their place. No one can predict where the galaxy will be at the end of it all, but everyone can say that it will never be the same again.
Current Areas of Focus:
The current areas of focus are the parts of the universe that I will be focusing on the most at the moment. While they will not be the sole focus of world building of this world they will be the things getting the most attention.
The Brother's Wars
The Brother's Wars was the first truely interstellar war. The Brother's Wars are best described as a revolution by the Leteiran Liberation Army against the colonizing powers, organized around the United Nations.
The Leteiran-Accords Cold War
Following the election of the Liberationists to the newly formed Leteiran Commonwealth, the Commonwealth became increasingly more aggressive in its influencing of the Perseus Gap. This led the nations of Earth to sign and ratify the Earth Accords, leading to a century of simmering conflict between the newly minted powers.
