Natalbany-class corvette

The Natalbany-class corvette is a spotter corvette in service with the Union Naval Department.

Power Generation

The Natalbany class has two small D-³He thermonuclear reactors in tandem operation.

Propulsion

The Natalbany class uses a modified engine with much of the reflective shielding and high-power components removed, reducing its thrust but also reducing its signature by the same token. Coupled with its thin profile, this makes the Natalbany class very hard to detect at its intended range band, if it can retain an appropriate angle on its targets.

Weapons & Armament

The Natalbany class is unarmed, except for a single point-defense laser and 23-cell VLS loaded with a mixture of chaff cartridges and interceptor missiles.

Sensors

The Natalbany class mounts a radar illuminator and a high-powered tracking radar, in addition to its multi-mode track/scan radar suite.
