Aunic Ascendancy
The Aunic Ascendancy is the state that currently controls Aun'Ist, the homeworld of the Aunic people, as well as the rest of Aunic space. Its head is Metat Aun, which is theorized by Union scientists to be a paracausal being. They rule Aunic space through their apparently immortal intermediary, Os.
The Ascendancy is currently at war with Union as a result of the Second Distal War, and has captured a significant wedge of Union space.
