General Physical Condition

Aurel had paranatural strength and durability, far beyond the realm of mortals. In his prime, he was capable of lifting several thousand pounds and had skin as hard as steel. Even towards the end of his life, he had the strength and endurance of men decades younger than him.
He capable of winning single combats against greater demons.

Personal history

Aurel was born to a poor family deep within the Lazren Mountains during the Black Years. When Aurel came of age, he steeled the hearts of men and led the remnants of mankind out of the Lazrens to take back their land. He fought with the power of the Godlings themselves, channeling the white hot power of Aurelius.
After cutting through swaths of demons and devils, the small contingent of humans slowly began to reclaim the ruins of human cities. After the Reclamation, Aurel returned to the Lazrens and founded a city, a bastion of stone and steel.
After dying in 311, the city was named Thraven; becoming the capital of humanity's new kingdom.

Along with leading the remnants of humanity from the recesses of the Lazrens, Aurel has a number of other feats and accomplishments. 
Namely, he was know to independently kill or incapacitate greater demons. His most marked feat was slaying the Horror of Korren near the end of the Reclamation.
