Thraven

The great stone city of Thraven is the capital city of humanity and the last great bastion of man.   Here, in the Stone Palace, Justin Olver, The High Lord of Thraven, resides atop the Steel Throne. In the first ring, the gears of the State slowly turn keeping the laws and decrees in check.   Leading the church without ego or remorse, Arbiter Augustine IIIX, the High Priest of Thraven, does what he must to ensure the survival of mankind.   The massive city is built from stone and steel, carved into the side of the Lazren Mountain range. Fiercely loyal to the Church and State, the politicians and priests of Thraven are zealous in the pursuit of the safety of their people. removing all who will stand in their way.

Infrastructure

The giant city is separated into 5 districts, or rings, each which are separated by a massive steel, stone wall.   The First Ring of Thraven The first ring of Thraven is home to the Stone Palace, the Citadel of Steel, along with dozens of various Halls and State buildings. Very few people actually live in the first ring as the majority of the ring is devoted to housing high ranking officials.   The Second Ring of Thraven The second ring of Thraven is the start of a massive labyrinth of steel and stone the persists until the fourth ring. This ring is home to thousands of nobles, merchants and senators.   The Third Ring of Thraven The third ring of Thraven is home to the middle class of Thraven. Mostly humans live here, but a few non-humans have managed to scrape together a living. Home to tradesmen, minor nobles and merchants, the third ring is the most comfortable life most humans could ask for.   The Fourth Ring of Thraven The fourth ring of Thraven is a continuation of the labyrinth that runs throughout the city. The walls here a massive, hundreds of feet tall; light barely reaches the bottom of this ring. Home to impoverished humans and non-humans, the fourth ring is a stark contrast to the splendor that is the third ring.   The Fifth Ring of Thraven The fifth ring of Thraven is little more than a shanty town built on the outer wall of the fourth ring. Home to the thousands of the poorest humans and thousands of non-humans. A horrible place to live, the fifth ring is a bleak place, devoid of law and order.

Guilds and Factions
