Personal history
Ren was born somewhere near DMNeeds. While her mother was a Pidee 'ba elf and a Wanderer, she chose to raise Ren on the outskirts of the city. They rarely left the Demynian region, but just as rarely ventured into the city.
During this time, Ren rarely met other Pidee 'ba elves. Instead, she met Rvisndyndion elves in the nearby city. The only other child she met was a boy named Elia, the third child of then-ruler Queen Solise. They remained friends and eventually became sweethearts.
They had their first child in 19782 Light when Ren was 112. Shortly after this, Elia was given a home in the city and Ren left their daughter with him on her first venture to the Fao Region. At some point during this trip, Ren met and befriended a Fao goddess who had previously refused to sign the Accord. Ren managed to convince her to sign the Accord and the Council of the Accord quickly promoted her to High Priestess for her tenacity.
With her new responsibilities, Ren managed to work out a system with Elia. They expanded their family to six children, which Ren would take half of with her on her journeys and leave the other half with Elia. Elia and Ren eventually decided to fully wed in the Rvisndyndion tradition after the birth of their first grandchild. Ren continued taking their grandchildren on small journeys with her to learn the world as only a high priestess knew how to see it.
Their system for family care worked for some time, but led to some tension when Elia realized the children had been in danger on several occasions. They officially separated on 20042 Light to reconsider the marriage.
Ren went on a long journey, south to Darkwell where she met Arthur Hoarfrost. They had a fling that resulted in Ren pregnant with Talaryn. There were many disagreements over the nature of Talaryn's eventual raising. Ren assumed she would take Talaryn with her when she left, but Arthur refused to let her take his only child away forever.
A month after Talaryn was born, Ren packed and left Darkwell without him or even telling Arthur. She left behind things for Talaryn to inherit when he came of age and only took a travelling baby sash she had made for the boy with her. Ren returned to Elia in DMNeeds, telling him what had happened. When he asked where his stepson was, Ren refused to tell him. After a few more days, they managed to reconcile.

Ren goes by 'she/her' pronouns and identifies as a woman.
Sexuality
Ren is more of a romantically monogamous person. However, she is much more free with her physical relationships with the blessing of her husband Elia.
Morality & Philosophy
Ren strongly believes in protecting nature. She thinks magic can be found in nature in all ways. The unnatural destruction of nature is akin to murder and not something she lightly tolerates. However, she respects the rhythms of life and death. Rarely will she take it upon herself to deliver judgement or vengeance on those she thinks did wrong. As a traveler, she feels her role is to observe and, in that position, preserve with her memory.
Relationships
History
Around the year 20084, Ren happened to be passing through Orenda's hometown of Ecmoor in Westray. While finding shelter in a stable, she met Orenda who was working as a stablehand. She quickly identified Orenda's sliver and after some talking, offered to teach her magic.
