Koumbi Saleh

Koumbi Saleh was originally constructed as a deep-space space station, however, after the discovery of major "hyperspace" routes and valuable resources on nearby worlds it quickly became a key trading hub. Not long after the founding of the space station, King's Galactic Freight was formed. The corporation has become intimately woven into the very fabric of the city with their growth and success being directly linked. It is the corporation's power and influence that has helped keep Koumbi Saleh an indepent and free city. While the elected officials are technically independent of the corporation, they often consult with upper-level executives to keep the station and company running smoothly.
