Tinkertops

The Tinkertops have ever been the backbone of the Imperial war machine. The capable gnomes of this city craft much of the weapons and armaments for the Imperial Army. Nestled into the south end of the Icespire Peaks this city of gnomes has a work ethic like none other. They work whistle to whistle like clockwork starting and stopping the days work on a moments notice. The atmosphere and entire industry shifts from work and production to entertainment and merriment on the other end of town and so this cycles goes day by day. Humans and elves often find the city quite uncomfortable as they don't make general accessibility considerations for anyone taller than a dwarf, but you can find a tavern or two that a human doesn't have to duck through a door frame to enter.
Many students from the Imperial Academy end up here to learn more about impalements of war.  Since this expansion and regular teaching a new quarter was built within Tinkertops called the Imperial Quarter to help accommodate those blessed with height.
