Iruvia

Iruvia has earned its reputation many times over as a city of producing graceful warriors. This is mostly thanks to the stories Falling Star School of sword arts. The school's focus on quick, nimble movements with dexterous striking has ended the lives of many monsters throughout Novaura. The training is unforgiving and sends its students into the harsh Karassian Desert for survival training - and if they so happen to meet a wandering desert beast the school considers this an acceptable trial.
The city is also famous, or rather infamous, for its lack of entertainment. Alcohol, pipe-weed, dancers, bards, and such things are considered distractions for the weak of mind and spirit. This, of course, doesn't mean one can't find such things. The elite of the city relish in these joys in secret dens where masks and costumes are required. Given the state of this the city seems to have two sides. One where Iruvia presents itself as a home of serious discipline and tradition. The other? Enjoying all the worldly vices they claim to abhor.
