Lord Plume
Lord Plume stands before you, towering over the building and surrounding trees. He wears a long dark cloak entirely laced with black feathers. His face is obscured by the cowl of the cloak. As you stare at him, your body is riddled by chills.
This Eldest is one of the weaker ones, but he is an eldest nonetheless. He has bound Ricos to his eternal service.
Lord Plume, as he is now known, was once a kyton eremite. One of the most powerful eremite overlords, in fact. He was known as Overlord Krargath. Krargath was tired of the age old war between the kytons and the shadow giants and he felt that the true enemy was the fae of the First World. He mended the conflict between the shadow giants and the kytons by grafting the queen of the shadow giants into himself, after she died in an attack from the fae of the First World. He ruled as the King of that section of the Shadowfell and led many raids on the First World. Eventually, however, he met Veera, an Eldest from the First World. Veera saw Krargath and fell in love, but Krargath was too far gone to feel anything for her. Desperate, Veera promised to end the fae raids on Krargath’s section of the Shadowfell, so long as he abandoned it. Krargath then left the Shadowfell without a word to the kytons and shadow giants. Since then, the kytons and shadow giants fell into a deeper conflict than ever before and Krargath gained a new name, the Traitor King. In the First World, Krargath was renamed Lord Plume and his appearance changed to one more fae-like as he assimilated the longer he was in the plane and he began to become whole again, learning to love Veera. 275 years ago, Veera was purified by Amriel and she has never returned. Lord Plume spent the last 275 years mourning in the First Heart until he was disturbed by Ricos, who he has been watching ever since their deal.
