C3E3 - Arc I | The One Where We Dig Graves

General Summary

Our heroes step out the door from the KNG to a beautiful and mountainous area. Surrounding their view in all directions are more mountains. The envelope they were give for the mission reveals they are to travel to Joonga, a small village, and inquire about the recent floods. They meet Breeze, who is to be their guide on the way to Joonga. He is a haughty air genasii who has some major sniping skill and a giant eagle familiar. 
The characters enter the Dock Woods on their way to Joonga. They stumble across a dead body that was planted as a trap. Breeze takes out a bad guy. They camp for the night, learning a little about one another and getting a pep talk from Breeze about the importance of the KNG. The next day they make it into a clearing. Out of it walk 6 armed men, and Breeze in tow. He simply watches as they are beaten. All are killed but two, who run away. 
Lucien heals a downed man who promptly steals gold from his dead friend and tries to run. Breeze shoots and kills the man, causing some strain to Lucien. Of course, Breeze doesn't know their real names. 
Lucien has chosen Nightengale, Miss B has chosen Hummingbird, and William has chosen Raven. 
Finally, they clear the woods and make it to the outskirts of Joonga.
