Tristan Cannon
In 977, Tristan Enterprises was approached by a military contractor to develop weaponry based on the Tristan generator. Perpetually curious, Lysander Tristan set to work in developing the weapon.
At it's most basic, the cannon would use a Tristan generator to charge a large capacitor with electrical energy. Once the capacitor was charged, ionized xylon particles would build up in the discharge barrel, and when the weapon was fired, electrical energy would vaporize the particles and the energy would be directed along the barrel towards the target.
After three years of development, the Tristan cannon was demonstrated in front of the Ministry Council. As a weapon, the device was a profound success.
