Come, my musical people. Let your voices shine in this starry night. You are free to do as you please.
— Musance

Origins

After the World War, Lunar created Musance. The angel excelled in music and dance. He helped the Tigrim find their music touch and happiness after becoming freed from enslavement. Some of the other races followed Musance's example by giving joy through music throughout Notta; even joining the Tigrim nomads.

The Ruler of Hope

by AuthorChase on HeroForge
Musance ruled over the Tigrim with a gentle and musical heart. Freedom was his people's sense of hope as Musance gave them the power of music. His rule was more of a figurehead ruling instead of a harsh rule, like Forgeheim's in Twilight Citadel. However, he sometimes intervened, protecting the Tigrim from rebellions that reached the nomadic camps of the anamorphic people. Nomad's Point experienced the worst of these attacks, but thanks to Musance's interference, they were safer than they would have been without him.   The creative professions Musance taught the Tigrim and other races included Artist, Author, Musicians, and Singers. These careers gave the Tigrim a sign of a creative hope in the form where they could create everything they ever wanted in their lives. Musicians and Singers especially gave back to Musance as songs that would keep their ruler going during dark times. The Tigrim people were forever grateful for Musance's rule of freedom and hope, even when they were enslaved once again.

Tigrim Musicians

Tigrim was the first race in Notta to pick up on artistic endeavors. Musicians played the lute, mini harp, harp, piano, and flute. These instruments were more calming music. People especially needed this shortly after the World War; as even with their new freedom, the Tigrim were anxious about it possibly being taken away. That was when Musance gained the idea of music with calming auras.

Koa Treeborn was the very first musician ever to grace Notta. Koa made his own harp and performed in Nomad's Point. He played and played until he gained a wide audience of Tigrim, Dark Elves, and Naga. This inspired others to make their own instruments and play them everywhere around Notta. There were even music festivals in Twilight Citadel.

Musance's Final Archon

by AuthorChase on HeroForge
The Songmaster was Sersa Seasand. Unlike past archons, Sersa was not a Tigrim, but a Water Naga. Water and Air Naga were renowned for their novels and art. However, they rarely did any music themselves. Which was why Sersa was such a integral option for Musance's archon. Musance hoped to bring more music to all races of Notta. As well as be fair to the creativeness of Sersa herself.   Sersa died along with Musance during the Great Rebellion. Her loss was forever felt by the re-enslaved Tigrim.

Perks and Flaws

Musance's great empathy, and musical prowess were the main positives of his rule. However, that empathy did not reach the Dark Dwarves. Most saw the empathy toward the Tigrim and other races as weak. Musance himself did not feel empathy for these dwarves because of how they saw the world and their fellow races. At least, that was his reasoning.   Whenever a judging against a rebellion took place, Musance and his archon were always the harshest. This was next to Forgeheim, the Warmaster, and Elemaster. Musance argued how the Dark Dwarves were a menace to society, with Lunar and Star arguing otherwise. The others in the council, other than the ones stated, were neutral in these arguments.   Musance had a hard time seeing past race except for very rare circumstances. The hope and music he inspired sustained his own belief in these matters. He told himself he would protect the freedom of his people, no matter the cost.

Animal Form

by AuthorChase on HeroForge
Musance took the form of a mooncat, running through the forests of Notta. He played with his people by entertaining children while their parents did their daily chores. There were times when Musance had to protect his people with this form in Nomad's Point and other nomadic camps. When assistance was too late, Musance was the front line along with the Sages he helped command.
