This campaign is more then just a game, it is a story with players who have invested a large amount of time and energy into. It is enjoyed for its engaging story and the living world it takes place within. Player cohesion and social dynamic is critically important, so be aware of how you are meshing with the other players in the campaign. Disruptive play, topics, or actions will not be tolerated. Respect everyone, be kind, and don't be an asshole.

General Conduct

The goal for all campaigns within Cretia is first and foremost to be an inclusive campaign where players can feel safe and comfortable. To achieve this, there are several rules and guidelines that will have to be followed.
Please consider the following List of Agreements and Etiquette that will be expected: Respect each other’s individual sovereignty Violent threats, harassment, and hate speech will not be tolerated Refrain from derogatory, racist, and sexist language No Politics, Religion, or Hot-Button Topics Do not take other players ideas as your own.
This means not only should members avoid using slurs and other language that disparages members of certain groups, but also that violent language or threats will be considered inappropriate. If you would expect people to feel hurt, distressed, or angry over your words; simply don’t say it.
In the event that any of the above rules are broken with a minor offense, I will politely ask the offender to stop. Extreme disrespect can result in an immediate ban. I reserve the right to remove a player from the server without explanation or warning.
I expect my players to moderate themselves; watch what they say and be mature when conflict arises between players. Respect the players, respect the DM and most of all respect the campaign.
My goal is to facilitate a positive, inclusive community where people from all backgrounds can enjoy DnD together. This can only be achieved when all members of the campaign follow the agreements above. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. Do not be scared of the pink gremlins, they are only my assistants and are here to facilitate everyone’s enjoyment of the campaign.

Campaign Conduct

There are a few expectations I have of my players in any campaign I DM: The mood of this campaign is closer to The Lord of the Rings than Monty Python. Treat it with respect Character relationships are a key part of roleplay; flirting, rivalries, friendships, etc, all help bring the story to life All cannon roleplay must take place in the discord server Do not metagame Do not criticize other player's character builds or play-styles Be mindful of the time period for the campaign and setting. Try and refrain from using phrases or ideas the characters would not be aware of Never forget, gremlins are always pink Respect each other and understand that conflicts happen both in character and possibly out of character It is important for everyone to stay mature and communicate. Be willing to talk things out and let small things go
I focus on roleplay heavy story elements and plot-driven stories. I enjoy giving my players a world to experience and find autonomy in. I do not rail-road or influence player decisions, though I do provide structure within the planned machinations of Cretia. I run fewer combat encounters which are deadlier and do not fudge my dice rolls. There is always a possibility for character deaths. Should this happen, the deaths will be woven into the story for the player characters and the world around them.
Please take all of this into consideration when you participate in the campaign and how you conduct yourself in and out of character. If you apply to the campaign you are accepting the rules listed and are making a non-verbal agreement that you will do your best to adhere to them.
