Norseheim

A cold and vicious land filled with opportunity to show ones strength and valor. Norseheim is a viking-themed, home-brewed world using the 5th Edition D&D rules.

Norseheim is a painstakingly crafted home-brew campaign setting where Norse history, legend, and myth all come together and live in beautiful harmony. The same amount of effort went into researching the clothing, armor, and weapons of the vikings as did the stories and sagas of legendary heroes and the gods. The details are what flushes out the ambience and character of Norseheim. It is this attention to detail that will cause this campaign world to be a constantly evolving and expanding universe. With every neat fact or story discovered; a new quest, item, or city is born in this world.

It may sound like this is a very realistic and historically accurate world that won't allow for adventures of over-the-top action. It is quite the opposite! Norseheim is designed with the intent to provide high-fantasy scenarios, allowing for epic player interaction.

While Norseheim is the whole campaign world, most adventures take place in the realm of Midgard. Which is only one of nine realms along the World Tree, Yggdrasil. A place where the gods not only exist, but can be frequently encountered. This is a place of myths, sagas, and epics; come forge your legend! Not only will players get a taste of adventure inspired by historic events, but they will also fight along side the myth and legends of Norse Mythology.   So, welcome my Vikings and Shieldmaidens, to the home of the Norse!
