150,000 live in the far north along the Ipeoenguit river, this is by far the highest density of people in the county.  It is also the highest density of people in the northernmost parts of the continent

Kanta county is the place where the Ipeoenguit river meets the sea.  This river is used as a road for 8 months of the year when it is frozen.  It runs for 1252 kilometres and almost directly north for most of that journey.  
This is a large sprawling county that has no internal connections to allow for travel from one point to another.
