Emiaika County

Demography and Population

323,000 people live in the county of which 21,314 people live in the capital Obnas and 195,000 of them live in or the delta of the great Qudermiut river which at 2,664 km is the second-longest river on Cantumland. Obnas is the largest city in the empire. Most of the county is flat taiga forest and very sparsely populated. There is a second area of higher population density around the Tuulkuip river with 38,000 people.

The county has an area of 144,000 sq km The delta of the Qudermiut river is the core of this county. There is a second river in the county, the Tuulkuip which starts in the county and meets the ocean at Kaulariniom in Oriviesmia County. Most of the county is low lying taiga. It is swampy with short trees. Northern Ontario around Kapuskasing is what the area looks like.

Agriculture & Industry

The delta of the Qudermiut river is one of the only areas in the empire with significant agriculture.

Trade & Transport

Obnas is a major port for the import and export of goods into the empire. Obnas is ice bound for much of the year. It is rare for the harbour to be free of ice before mid June and it ices up by the end of September.
