The second intelligent species on Cantumland, after the Beastmen. They are the only species born with innate control and understanding of wist. All nations and organizations are made of humans.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Their anatomy is identical to your own, with all the standard variations, and a few key additions listed below. They have a wider esophagus, allowing for easier access to the stomach during Wist pulling. Their stomach contains an esoteric material that is unique to their life and personality, a tally of the sum total of their experiences. About 29% of the population have golden flecks in their eyes. Another 8% have golden freckles.

Biological Traits

There are three sub groupings of traits that appear in humans, which are a little complicated to describe. The variations between groups can be blurry, and is not a recognised distinction in world. They will be labeled as levels. Level 1 has the least wist aptitude, and are the most common. They are born from the pairing of a 1 and a 2, a 1 and a 3, or a 3 and a 3. Children of a 3 and 3 are known as Scrubs and are the only recognized level. Level 2 are the average point, though are not the most numerous. They are born from the pairing of a 2 and a 3, or a 1 and a 1. Level 3 are the greatest with wist, and are also the rarest. They are born only from the pairing of a 2 and a 2.

There is no distinction in intelligence between levels, and all have standard human intelligence.

They have an innate ability to feel fluctuations and tremors in the wistfield, with training this sense can be honed to a fine sense.

History

Humans came to Cantumland in the year 0, which defines the beginning of the modern era. They rapidly replaced the Beastmen, through interbreeding and competition, and eventually forgot their existence almost entirely.
