Encyclopedia Noreria Foreword

The knowledge of an entire world is not something that can easily be contained within a book, or even a volume of books.  However, just because a thing is difficult does not mean it should not be done.  During Her time on our world, the Goddess Idikai thought that all peoples should have access to all learning.  As Her acolytes, we believe the same.  We strive always to gather knowledge and to share it, which is where these volumes come in.  

While acolytes come from all corners of Noreria, from differing cultures and peoples, we all share one core belief: that through knowledge comes meaning; through meaning comes enlightenment.  That we can help others acheive meaning and enlightenment is the highest purpose we can hope for.  All volumes of the Encyclopedia Noreria were written by Acolytes of the Temple of Idikai, for the express purpose of expanding the knowledge available to all inhabitants of Noreria.
