Kreios carneval caravan
Kreios is the manager of a traveling carnival and trade caravan. The caravan of around 50 people bring with them news of the world at large along with wonders, exotic, strange or wild animals and creatures, items from cities and towns afar and entertainment of different variety.
The caravan comprise of many wagons, carriages and carts packed with everything from animals to goods, and equipment for camping, foodstuff from near and far, simple and somewhat more exotic. Several of the carnies double in roles, from teamsters, to guards, to workers, animal-keepers, jesters and entertainers.
First and formost among the carnies is Kreios, a human male, with dark-black hair, somewhat olive-bronzed weathered yet smooth skin, in around 45 years of age. He has several piercings in the form of several gold rings in his ears and some in one of his eyebrow. When he speaks he uses colorful exclamations but seem sincere and honest. Kreios is the head of the carnival, having his hands in a bit of everything the carnival have to offer, from jest to animals, to trinkets and wonder.
There is also the entertaining jesters and theatre troupe, that tell and perform stories concerning both fables of heroes, along with religious highlights, but also down to more popular and folk-like plays of simple intrigues. Doubling in the troupe can be found the sage, the merchant, the young lover, the captain, the scheming servant, the ordinary servant and the not so bright servant. These players double in different roles outside the stage as well, but are often jested at with these titles.
The beastiary or manangerie have several people seeing to the more exotic creatures. Here can be found animal keepers seeing to some quite large animals, but also down to very small and dangerous ones. Kreios keep a strange muddy-elemental imp-like creature, a mud mephit. The snake charmer Saffron keep a giant poisonous snake along with a small collection of smaller poisonous snakes.
Saffron is a human woman in around 30 with uncommonly dark-bronzed skin and scarlet red hair. She wear quite outlandish clothing with small tinkling pieces of jewelry. She usually pace about and can be quite arrogance when she interact with others. She charm her snake with a strange looking flute and is a entertainer of sort.
Petronia keep some other oddities, seeing to a strange two-headed dog, a death dog called two-pug. There is also a cockatrice called Pebbles, along with a small dragon, a pseudodragon called Stingy. Petronia have certain visible pronounced scars here and there over her body, some on the arms, visible streaks to the face, neck and down the torso. She uses long words and is quite friendly.
