A religious life built around prayer and community service as well as veneration of Saints and the Draconic gods. Meepo plays a central role as symbolic saviorand leader of the faith through his semi-divine status. The actual Meepo is dead and was said to rise again through his brief rebirth through a Gulthias tree due to Sreng Ua Boglach's interference.

History
The Meepoite religion began when Sreng Ua Boglach accidentally created a simulacrum of the dead kobold beat master Meepo when trying to ressurect his own kinsman, Alfie via a Gulthias Tree. This simulacrum left the Sunless citadel where it was encountered by its former clan which thought Meepo has bee reborn. This created a burgeoning theology with Meepo filling a messianic role. They began to preach this theology which evolved with new followers, mostly Kobolds but now reaching human, gnomish, dragonborn and Wilderfolk members. The first few years saw competition between the Loriax sect and Moorax sect. The former focused on spiritual enlightenment and compassion as the forward values while the Moorax sect was more interested in organizing a functioning community of the faithful as the foremost step. The Loriax sect published more literature but the Moorax sect eventually eclipsed them. The current religion is mostly Mooraxian, forming shrines and communities around their beliefs. The largest is the island village of Meepopolis in the Bandit Sea. There a few others; one in Aguila, one near Oakhearst and another was in Nowhere which has now been merged with the Oakhearst community. The religion is making new converts quickly which worries many in power as Meepoite religion is more peasant oriented and doesn't make class distinctions.

Religion
A messianic faith that honors Meepo as the messenger of the Draconic gods and a savior of all people as he made the divine accessible to mortals through his resurrections. He and those followed him have begun to form a theology and focus on shared values off community and divinity. They honor the Five Primary Dragon Gods: Koschei, Tiamat, Leviathan, Fafnir and Nidhoggr. Meepo is the primary route of communication between worshippers and the gods with prayer directed to him. There are also saints who are mostly people involved with Meepo death and resurrection. A few new ones have been added based on early important thinkers of the faith which has set the precedent for more to be venerated.

Education about the faith is common, with clerics teaching the people from one of the few eclectic prayer books being circulated.
Mythology & Lore
The Meepoite religion holds that the dragon gods were partly blocked off from the world in the Planar war despite being the greatest gods. They have since been trying to return to help all sentient beings. They couldn't achieve this alone. so a special kobold was born to facilitate the connection. Meepo, a beast master of a Kobold tribe in the sunless Citadel was this person. He met with and was helped by the Sunless Citadel party. Sadly, he was killed by his own white dragon charge along with Alfie. His body was then pressed into a Gulthias Tree by Sreng Ua Boglach which created a simulacrum of Meepo. This clone was thought to be a ressurected Meepo by his clan who began to preach a new theology based on rebirth through Meepo and reconnection to the Draconic gods through his veneration. The afterlife is somewhat of a debate with some saying that the faithful reach a paradise overseen by the Dragon Gods with others contending the faithful become ancestors who watch over the community after death through the stars.
Cosmological Views
The 5 Dragon Gods: Tiamat, Koschei, Fafnir, Nidhoggr and Leviathan are the greatest god sand can reached through Meepo. they will intercede through him or the Saints to help followers. Multilaterist theology that believes in many gods but venerates the 5. It is semi-codified in the Gospel of Meepo which is the second tract published by the faith replacing the Missal of Meepo.

- The Saints can intercede with Meepo and the Dragon Gods to aid the faithful
- There should be no limit on who can and can't convert
- A good community is a thoughtful community

A focus on prosociality and spiritual attainment that varies by community and believer.
Worship
Worship is focused o nritualized sacrifices of food and incense to the Dragon Gods, prayer to Meepo led by a cleric and community worship.
Priesthood
Clerics are selected by local Bishops (community leaders) based on their spiritual aptitude for the faith and magic therein. They are trained to act as spiritual guides, halers and defenders. Paladins are similar but focus on defending the community and spreading the faith. Most are kobolds and they are in high demand in the Meepoite communities, setting a precedent that Kobold clergy are thought to b best.

Sects
- Loriax sect: A now extinct sect that valued compassion and spiritual attainment above all. They were mostly eclipsed by the Moorax Sect.
- Moorax Sect: A sect that prioritizes a functional community of believers as the primary focus with communal worship prioritized. Most Meepoites conform to this sect's views.
- Ultax Sect: A new sect thought of a s heretical by most worshippers that preaches about the superiority of dragons and dragonkin, with a belief all can be worshippers but that only dragonkin can be clergy.
