First Orc War

Military action

A long war that was fought against invading Orc legions.

As the Orc nation grew from the ashes of the Reckoning, the Orc's began their expansion into other territories. Highwall requested assistance from the Crow, but the King was unable to send many troops in the beginning. Lord Baron Olick Redheart formed what is now known as the Red Cloaks, as well as the town guards, the Highwall Longbow men, and the Barony Militia to help turn the tides of the invasion. At the start of the war the Barony was in its infancy, and did not have a strong standing army to help defend its borders. The Orc tribe Red Eyes, lead the legions and took almost half of the Barony in a manner of weeks. After a long siege and other territories coming to the aid of Highwall. the Orcs finally broke and were pushed back beyond the borders of Highwall.
