Uplifted

Uplifted are a highly intelligent group of animals that have formed a government in the absence of their creator. They were originally created by humans to be intelligent companions and assistants, but after a great war that left the planet in ruins, the humans disappeared, leaving the Uplifted to fend for themselves.
At first, the Uplifted struggled to survive without the guidance of their human creators. But over time, they began to band together and form a society of their own. They established a government, with each species of Uplifted represented by a council of elders. Together, they worked to create a new society that would allow them to thrive in the absence of their creators.
Despite their intelligence and their efforts to create a peaceful society, however, the Uplifted are far from perfect. Some Uplifted are calling for a more authoritarian government, believing that strong leadership is needed to keep the society together. Others are calling for more democracy and freedom, arguing that the Uplifted must learn to govern themselves without relying on a central authority.
Despite the challenges that the Uplifted face, however, they remain a fascinating and unique society in the galaxy. Their intelligence and self-awareness make them unlike any other species, and their struggles to build a new society in the absence of their creators raise questions about the nature of sentience and the responsibilities that come with it.
