The mayor of Statheros is an old elf knight. Many members of his council are rich breeders and trainers of flying beasts.

Flying cavalry on pegasi patrols the town, and every guard post has an high tower from where the soldiers can fly off when needed.

Breeding, training and selling giant birds and pegasi is the core of Statheros economy.
