SerpentSpire Keep

The keep is the only known structure on the island nation of the "Obsidian Isles". For the people, or

what ever you might call the creatures living on this massive, dark and splintered mountain in the middle of the ocean, are fiercer then the "Skilljari" warriors, and finer sailors then those of the Skalamirr fleet on "Emberstone Isles". Little is known about their culture as they are vicious and bloodthirsty towards all who don't share their distinct features. The "Ash Born" they're often called, for their skin is darker than midnight and yet their hair whiter than new fallen snow. Fishermen tales from the Emberstone isles, tells stories of how also the Ash Born themselves think they indeed are born from ashes, godly ashes in fact. As the tales sound, the Ash Born believes that

when the four daughters of Dosmír el Kýr (The Mother And The Ox) had birthed their own children into the world, "Garsnýl" and "Gyrd" would betray, kill and burn their sisters "Vrúnhild" and "Ottkila" to rule the ocean and skies as well as the land. From the Burnt corpses of Vrúnhild came the Ash Born Women and from Ottkila's body came the men, bound to avenge their mothers betrayal, often done by mindlessly murdering the light skinned heathens born by the betrayer gods. Its also said some are worshipping the "beast of the sea" often referred to as Mother Kraken, as they believe it is Ottkilas great Serpent "Jörrga" still roaming the sea, angry and confused as to where its mother has gone.
These are only tales though, the actual knowledge of the Ash Born is no more than the location of the Serpentspire Keep, their features and their vicious suicide attacks called "Fire Running" where they envelop them selves in "Kraken Oil", light them selves on fire and jump onboard enemy ships to spread the flames.
