Ursine

Large and stature and covered in a forest of fur, Ursine are a bear-like people known in equal parts for their deep sense of family, and ferocity.    Standing nearly nine feet tall, Ursine are a wall of muscle and fur, fur that can vary in color from pure white to a deep dark black. Despite their ferocious appearance Ursine are fully sentient like any other species and are well known for their deep protective instincts towards family, both found and biological. Those who threaten an Ursine will soon find themselves on the bad end of an Ursine's fury.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Ursine seem to originate from Wahar, and if stories are to be believed, are from the same region as the Kalashtar, with Ursine travelers also saying that their people stand as part of the "Eternal Vigil."   Outside of Wahar, Ursine are a rare sight. Most people may assume they are an awakened bear before they presume they are their own race.
