Viktoria (Vika) Lenora Belova

Nosova really doesn't like things like authority figures and rules that don't make sense, but she dislikes getting in trouble more so reins herself in a lot. Puts on a good face and overcompensates so she's not very good at standing up for herself. She's mostly uncomfortable with people her age because she's always been on the outskirts of friend groups and isn't the best at making friends.
But when she does open up, she's still not the loudest around people she's comfortable with. She'll say something when she has something to say, which gets more frequent as she learns about the group she's in, but often she's content to listen.
By the end of the story, she could be more comfortable in standing up for herself, and maybe more comfortable just being around people and being quiet without feeling like she should be saying something.

In one corner, there was a girl with curly brown hair that brushed her shoulders and golden skin. She was wearing a magenta shirt and her nails were painted to match.
To their left at the table was a girl in a bright pink shirt with paint smudges on her hands. Her eyes were darting around the room, at the walls instead of the people.

Motivation

During her last year of public school, she cheated on her final exam for her math class. It was a hard class, she's not very good at math, and she needed the credit. She got into Harrington and put it out of her mind, albeit uneasily.
But now, our mystery villain has dug it back up again. They know what she did and they have proof. If they expose her, since it was a final exam, she'll be expelled. After she left her family on less than ideal terms, she doesn't know where she'd go if that happened.
